There were a lot of moving parts and it was stressful. Ikeya and her team immediately took that stress away from us. They were tremendous leaders in the planning process, and it felt great to have someone we trusted and truly heard our vision.
We gave Ikeya and her team almost too many ideas, and they were always ready to listen. They were ready to engage and most importantly implement. Our day was so special and when things didn't go well with vendors they fought for us.
We had an issue with one particular vendor where communication broke down. It was very frustrating, and it caused a ton of unnecessary stress. However, Ikeya advocated for us. She didn't compromise or tell us to "take our medicine". She called them out. We got to a resolution and it helped make our day smoother.
During the rehearsal, Ikeya and her team were open to changes as well. It was never my way or the highway situation. They listened and were open to adjust. They made it clear that they are here to serve us. They are here to help us and not to order us around.
We had a wonderful time during our wedding day, and during a time when so much can change they did a wonderful job making sure we felt comfortable and not stressed. That was a real blessing for us.
